The premise of inception is that we support the process of turning your idea into a solution to your problem.

Our services

From detailed design through to completion; our proposal (once peer reviewed and approved) delivers a unique turn key solution that not only delivers conformity, it also produces transparency for all parties when an “Apples for Apples” approach is preferred.

Our culture is about using the right tools for the job, yet all projects carry some level of risk. Being able to identify and manage risks requires skill, planning and being able to make good decisions. As part of our consolidated approach, good risk management requires commitment, ownership and an understanding of the processes.

Risk workshop

Our consolidated team choose to adopt a risk workshop, based on the following:

  • Identifying initial and progressive risks.
  • Assess the likelihood & impact of each individual risk.
  • Combine the effect of likelihood and impact, in order to determine the risk levels.
  • Mitigating measures and controls.
  • Monitor and review the levels of risk to determine which need mitigating to become acceptable.

Our design team base our proposals on committing the necessary resources for high level design philosophy (including commercial aspects) and completing the engineering of compliant fire protection systems.

In it’s simplistic form, processes include:

  • Prepare quotation.
  • Quotation accepted.
  • Create design philosophy for design intent & design parameters.
  • Complete design parameters with block plan / storage intentions with estimated design duties.
  • Complete preliminary design for submission to the Certifying body.
  • Adapt & complete review findings (if any) with detailed design to finalise costing of the proposed systems.
  • Complete as-built drawings with any modifications as required.
  • Complete & close out hydraulic calculations.
  • Complete completion documentation.
  • Documentation: including hydraulic, storage declaration & block plan.
  • Third-party fees: including all System Certifier (SSC) review and approvals including inspections.
